We had a wonderful day on June 29th. The party went into the late evening, with all of us around the fire pit in Mr. Kennedy's backyard. We had a very memorable time celebrating our collective 60th birthday party together. A few of us have birthdays in 1952 and a dozen or so have their big 6-0 birthday in January of 1954. We all came together as adults and shared stories of our years together at Moon.
If we have your email address in our class directory, we sent your invitation electronically. All others were in the mail. If you did not hear from us, we apologize. We sent 50 or so email invitations and the rest were sent via the post office. Please do fill out the form below so we can have your current information.
Here is the menu the reunion committee decided on. Fried chicken, sandwich ring and fresh cut fruit. Sally donated potato salad and a spinach salad. We decided on a "cookie" tray with each of us living locally, bringing a few dozen cookies. Karen supplied the chicken and bottled water. Also, Sally brought iced tea. Cindy donated the wine, sangria and the birthday cake, plus the invitations and postage. She also pays the fees to keep our class website up and running. A big thanks to Barb Eberle Beltz for donating funds to keep our website running. We don't have any advertising on it, so thanks Barb for the donation!
